A month into providing rural Taylor County with ambulance service, leaders of South Taylor Emergency Medical Service (STEMS) say their new role is going smoothly. Taylor County Commissioners in mid-October approved an agreement with STEMS for ambulance services in rural parts of the county, which took effect Dec. 15. "Things are going great.
