ImageTrend's EMS Bridge solutions are getting a facelift in version 4.0, which is now available. Between the State Bridge, Service Bridge and Field Bridge solutions, the Field Bridge's design and navigation will be updated the most.

The EMS Field Bridge is a popular product with over 1500 units in the field offering patient-side documentation capabilities in a mobile environment. In order to continually provide superior software and service, ImageTrend coordinates a user group that offers a national footprint with regional interests and needs. The variety found in this group has brought many suggestions for improved usage and navigation.

Our users agreed that the main functionality of the Field Bridge is stable with NEMSIS Gold compliance, EKG (monitor) and CAD (dispatch) integrations, power tools and Active Protocol for rapid data entry. What our users wanted was larger fonts, smoother navigation and even faster application response.

New Design Updates

• Bigger sections and fields. The whole run form dynamically resizes as you make the form larger or smaller, filling out the whole screen.
• All buttons and scrollbars, including power tools, will be larger and easier to click with a finger.
• New styles will enhance the overall look and give it a more "touchable" feeling.
• Power tools will be redesigned.

More Administrative Features

• Edit, maintain and sync the run form layouts from the State Bridge or Service Bridge.
• Maintain and sync narratives and reports from the State Bridge or Service Bridge.
• Customize power tools from the State Bridge and Service Bridge (vitals, IV, pediatrics, etc.).
• Auto-updating functionality of the application. Updates get pushed out and can be installed by Windows restricted users.

• Built on Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
• Database backend has been changed from Microsoft Access to Microsoft SQL Server CE.
• Enhanced posting/sync engine, allowing for faster downloads, better logging and more.
• Utilizes powerful graphics and layout Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation engine.

Strong Security

• Data storage will be using Microsoft SQL Compact Edition database.
• Entire database is 128-bit encrypted.
• Database is password-protected.
• Patient-sensitive information further encrypted using our own algorithm.
• Ability to automatically auto-delete old runs.
